Are you interested in becoming an American Heart Association CPR instructor?
The ideal instructor candidate:
-is motivated to teach and facilitate learning
-is motivated to ensure that students acquire the skills necessary for successful course completion
-views student assessment as a way to improve individual knowledge and skills
Training Concepts, Inc. offers approximately one new instructor course per month. The training consists of a one-day classroom course held from 8:30am to 4:30pm and a monitoring session for the first class that you teach along with the required AHA Instructor Manual.
When you become an AHA CPR Instructor you will be able to teach numerous CPR/AED and First Aid courses that AHA offers. You will be able to train co-workers, childcare workers, teachers, students, family, friends, and organizational groups.
The prerequisite for the course is to have a current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR course completion card.
AHA mandates that all instructors align with a training center. We are an AHA authorized Training Center accepting instructors. By attending our class, you are choosing to align with Training Concepts. The annual fee for affiliating with Training Concepts is $60 and will be billed when you've completed the process of becoming an instructor and are issued your card. If you intend to align with another training center, please let us know before registering for the class so we can provide you with the necessary paperwork. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
