Are you interested in becoming an American Heart Association CPR instructor?
The ideal instructor candidate:
-is motivated to teach and facilitate learning
-is motivated to ensure that students acquire the skills necessary for successful course completion
-views student assessment as a way to improve individual knowledge and skills
Training Concepts, Inc. offers approximately one new instructor course per month. The course consists of a one-day classroom course held from 8:30am to 4:30pm, a 7-hour self-directed CD-ROM course issued by the American Heart Association and a monitoring session for the first class that you teach.
When you become an AHA CPR Instructor you will be able to teach all CPR/AED and First Aid courses that AHA offers. You will be able to train co-workers, childcare workers, teachers, students, family, friends, and organizational groups.
The pre-requisite for the course is to have a current American Heart Association CPR course completion card.
After you earn your instructor status you will need to affiliate with a training center. Training Concepts, Inc. is a training center that welcomes outside instructors to join.
